What We Do

We are dedicated to see the society whereby gender equality is ensured so that girls and women enjoy equal opportunity in the social and economic development of the country

Women for Women Social and Development Association (WfWSDA) is a registered Ethiopian Residents Charity Organization, recognized by the Federal Charities and Societies Agency under Registration Number 3555. Established in 2015 as per Proclamation No. 621/2009, the organization was subsequently re-registered in accordance with the new Proclamation 1113/2019. The inception of WfWSDA and its endeavors were inspired by the story of Aberash Bekele, a survivor of abduction.
